Jane Musser Nelson

Jane Musser Nelson is a Senior Investment Consultant in Cambridge Associates’ Boston office. She works with a variety of clients, including foundations, colleges, and cultural institutions as well as private clients. Her clients range in size starting with $40 million to over $1 billion. Prior to rejoining Cambridge Associates in 2009, Jane spent more than twenty years in asset management. She was an Executive Vice President at Bain Capital’s Sankaty Advisors, LLC. Jane was a Managing Director at ING Capital Advisors for seven years, where she was a member of the U.S. and European Credit Committees. Prior to ING, Jane was a Vice President at Eaton Vance for five years, analyzing companies in paper, packaging, media and consumer durables. Jane was a Vice President at 3i Capital, a U.K. based venture capital firm for four years. Jane earned a BA in Economics from Smith College and a MBA from the Amos Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
