Maria F. Dwyer Chief Regulatory Officer and Executive Vice President, MFS Investment Management Maria F. Dwyer is Executive Vice President and Chief Regulatory Officer of MFS Investment Management. In this capacity, she is responsible for the firm’s compliance, fund treasury and risk management functions. She also is a member of the company’s Management Committee. Maria rejoined MFS in March 2004 from Fidelity Investments, where she held several senior management positions from 1996 to 2004. Most recently, she was President and Treasurer of the Fidelity Funds. Prior to that, she also served as Deputy Treasurer for the Fidelity Funds and Director of Investment Development. Before joining Fidelity, Maria served at MFS in a variety of senior roles from 1990 to 1996. She was Senior Vice President and Director of Compliance, and also served as Assistant Treasurer of the MFS funds, and as Assistant General Counsel-Tax, with oversight for all fund-related taxation issues. Maria received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of the Holy Cross (Mass.) in 1980. She also earned a J.D. from Suffolk University (Mass.) Law School and an L.L.M. in Taxation from Boston University Law School. |
