Megan Zug

Consultant

Megan is a consultant in the nonprofit education sector.  She was most recently Director of Marketing at Uncommon Schools, a nonprofit charter management company.  Prior to joining Uncommon, Ms. Zug was, from 2003 until 2006, the Director of Strategic Development at Boston Collegiate Charter School, where she managed fund development, marketing, and organizational strategy. Previously, Ms. Zug served as Program Officer at the Tiger Foundation in New York City where she worked with the Director of the foundation to manage $4 million in annual grantmaking in the areas of education reform, job training, and social services. Her career began in the role of Associate in J.P. Morgan’s Community Relations and Philanthropic Services department.
 
She serves on the Advisory Committee of the Trinity Education for Excellence Program (an ACCESS Community Partner) and the Hill House Council. Ms. Zug received a B.A. in Government from Georgetown University and an MPP degree from the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
