Under Bob’s leadership, ACCESS has been recognized for the important role it plays in Boston and beyond.  In 2009, ACCESS was named a Social Innovator by the Social Innovation Forum and received the Committed to Access Award by the Association of Independent Colleges and Universities of Massachusetts, and was a 2008 recipient of the Boston Foundation’s prestigious Out of the Blue Award in recognition of “exceptional leadership” in the Boston nonprofit sector.

Elizabeth Ahearn

Liz joined ACCESS in November 2011. She graduated from Saint Anselm College in 2010 with a degree in Psychology and a certificate in Human Relations and Work. At Saint Anselm College, she was extremely involved in a social justice program including leading a Spring Break Alternative trip. After graduating, she worked in both the Human Resource and Financial Service Departments at Babson College. She is extremely excited to join the team at ACCESS to help fundraise money for an organization that helps students achieve their dream of attending college.

 Jasmine Brewer

 Jasmine Brewer is originally from Denver, and is a graduate of the High School of Science and  Technology and American International College, both in Springfield.  She received her B.A. in Sociology in 2010 from AIC and has 3 years of experience in youth and residential counseling.

 Alexandra Chewning

  Evaluation Projects Manager

 Alexandra Chewning is the new Evaluation Projects Manager at ACCESS. She has spent the past ten years  working with children and families in diverse academic and community settings, both domestically and abroad. Alex earned her Master’s with Thesis in Applied Child Development and Social Policy from Tufts University, where she served as Research Associate for a statewide evaluation of the Healthy Families Program for adolescent mothers.

 Committed to making college success attainable for all, Tim is excited to return to ACCESS, where he previously  served as a New Sector Alliance Resident in Social Enterprise. Tim received an MBA from the Yale University School of Management and his bachelor’s from Brown University. When not at work, he enjoys getting lost on long bike rides and finding his way back home again.
